Pakistan Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has predicted that a full-blow war between India and Pakistan is “likely to occur in October or the following month.” Also, Pakistan has issued NOTAM (notice to airmen) & Naval warning in the view of a possible missile test-firing from Sonmiani flight test range near Karachi. However, on one side, Pakistan is approaching the United Nations, taking the Kashmir issue after India abrogated Article 370.

Likewise, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has called it the ideology of Pakistan. Also, the Minister for Human Rights in Pakistan Shireen Mazari has written to United Nations for the same, in which Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s quote- “people dying” in Jammu and Kashmir, in light of events “going very wrong there”, is mentioned. India revoked Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir after the resolution was passed in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha respectively.

Recently, Russian Envoy to India, Nikolay Kudashev spoke up on Article 370. He said, “This is the sovereign decision of Indian government, it’s an internal matter of India. All issues existing between India & Pakistan should be resolved through dialogue on the basis of Shimla agreement & Lahore declaration”.

Also, Roman Babushkin, Deputy Chief of the Russian Embassy in India said, “Russia has no role to play in India-Pakistan dispute unless both ask for mediation. During the closed-door event at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), we reiterated that Kashmir is an internal issue of India”.
