People of Slough, UK can now have ‘Langar with MP’, Tanmanjeet Singh Annual Langar week event has been organized by Sikh Press Association in coordination with Gurudwaras to highlight the centuries-old institution within the Sikh faith of langar (free community kitchen). They are organizing this event in the UK in collaboration with Guru Manyeo Granth Gurudwara in Slough on 5th October 2018. Tanmanjeet, Slough MP is also participating in the event. They are promoting the meaning of communal kitchen service. Also Read: International Langar Week celebrated by Tanamnjeet Singh Dhesi They want the people around the country to experience the 500-year-old free communal kitchen service of the Sikhs. Tanmanjeet Singh is inviting people to have langar with him and also to volunteer for this amazing service. He urges everyone to donate prepares, serves and eats food together to exemplifying equality, while ensuring that all (especially the more vulnerable) are fed.
