PM Narendra Modi meets the family of late former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley
Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met the family members of the late former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at his residence. PM Modi was at Bahrain when the former Finance Minister passed away at AIIMS, Delhi. While PM Narendra Modi was on tour, he PM has spoken to Arun Jaitley’s wife and son and expressed his condolences. On the sad demise of Arun Jaitley, PM Modi said, "I have lost a valued friend, whom I have had the honour of knowing for decades. His insight on issues and nuanced understanding of matters had very few parallels. He lived well, leaving us all with innumerable happy memories. We will miss him!".
