Nitish Kumar sworn in for the 9th time: Key developments unveiled

1. Nitish Kumar, along with BJP's Samrat Choudhury and Vijay Sinha, took the oath on Sunday, signaling the formation of a new government in Bihar. The Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) president, Dr. Santosh Kumar Suman, also joined the swearing-in ceremony.

2. In a significant political shift, RJD ministers were overnight excluded from the cabinet, reflecting the altered political landscape in Bihar under Nitish Kumar's leadership.

3. Tejashwi Yadav asserted that 2024 signifies the decline of the JD(U), emphasizing that the political dynamics in Bihar are far from settled.

4. Political strategist Prashant Kishor predicted a short-lived alliance between Nitish and the BJP, foreseeing further changes in Bihar within six months after the Lok Sabha elections. Kishor suggested that regardless of Nitish Kumar's political affiliations, he would struggle to secure more than 20 seats in the 2025 state election.

5. Akhilesh Yadav accused Nitish Kumar of setting a new record of betrayal, asserting that the BJP is currently at its weakest.

6. Nitish Kumar assumed the role of Chief Minister for the first time in 2000, positioning himself against the RJD. In 2013, he parted ways with the NDA but aligned with RJD in the 2015 election.

Previously, the Congress mentioned Mallikarjun Kharge's unsuccessful attempt to reach out to Nitish Kumar.
