Power Bank Explodes As Woman Throws It At Airport, Gets Arrested 56-year-old woman was held by the Delhi Police at the Indira Gandhi International Airport for allegedly causing a commotion after being asked by the airport staff to remove a power bank from her checked baggage. Airport Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Bhatia said, the woman, named Malvika Tiwari, has been arrested under Indian Penal Code’s Section 285 for negligent conduct with respect to fire or combustible matter and Section 336 for endangering life or personal safety of others. Malvika Tiwari, a Defence Colony resident, was later released on bail. As per a senior officer, she was asked to take out her power bank but she threw a fit and her power bank device at the wall, agitated. A small blast was triggered thereon. The woman was detained after a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel had to rush to the spot. -PTC News
