Prakash Singh Badal appeals to Veteran Akali leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa Prakash Singh Badal Appealed to the Veteran Akali leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa following his resignation from the party. He appealed that party really needs him. He should keep working for the party, no matter even if he devotes a small amount of time only. Dhindsa has worked really hard and the main reason he was chosen as the Chief Minister of Punjab. He also said that the party should work keep working together and take this party to new heights. Veteran Akali leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa has resigned from all positions in the SAD on Saturday which gave rise to so many questions. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa cited his advancing age deteriorating health as the reasons behind his action and put the speculations to a rest. In his resignation letter sent to the party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, Dhindsa has said that he had always worked for the welfare of the party, but would not be able to work as the secretary general or member of the party core committee. -PTC NEWS
