President Of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee To Attend The 15 Year Celebrations At ISB, Mohali

Mohali: President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee will visit the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Mohali which is celebrating the completion of 15 years, on Sunday, November 20. This is not the first time that Shri Mukherjee is interacting with ISB, the last time being as recent as April this year when the Founding Class of the Management Programme in Public Policy (MPPP), run by ISB’s Bharti Institute of Public Policy, met with the President at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President will be interacting with a large group of students, alumni and faculty apart from spending some exclusive time with members of ISB’s Board and long serving employees of the School. Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Shri V P Singh Badnore, Hon’ble Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Parkash Singh Badal, and Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal will also attend the function. From the corporate world Chairman of the Board, ISB and Godrej Group Chairman Adi Godrej, Hero Group’s Sunil Kant Munjal, founding dean of ISB Pramath Raj Sinha, Rahul Khosla, Managing Director of Max India and others will be in attendance too. “It is indeed a red letter day for us at ISB”, said ISB Dean Rajendra Srivastava. “It is heartening to see the trust and confidence placed in the School by the government and industry alike. This recognition of cutting-edge management research delivered by our faculty and the value created by our world class management graduates certainly inspires us to reach for greater heights. That the Union Minister of Human Resources Shri Prakash Javadekar, apart from the Honourable Governor of Punjab & Administrator of Chandigarh UT, the Honourable Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of the state will also be present, adds a special significance to the occasion. ISB is now set to enter a new phase of growth and I believe that with the kind of support it has from the business community, its students, and most importantly its alumni, we should endeavour to be the top business school in Asia and among the very best in the world in the not too distant future,” Dean Srivastava added.
