Guru Nanak Jayanti: Mohali's Wave Estate's Atlantis society celebrates Gurpurab with reverence, devotion
Gurpurab celebrations: The Atlantis Apartment Owners' Welfare Association at Wave Estate, Sector 85, Mohali, recently observed Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with a deeply reverential celebration that resonated with spirituality and communal harmony.
The event commenced with the recital of Sukhmani Sahib path, a revered prayer in Sikhism, fostering an atmosphere of tranquility and devotion among the attendees. Following this solemn prayer, the air became alive with the melodic strains of Shabad Kirtan.
The Ragi Jatha enthralled the sangat with stirring sakhis (narratives) depicting the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. Their captivating narratives imparted valuable insights and lessons from the life of the revered Guru, enriching the spiritual experience of the sangat.
The organising committee members, including Jatinder Singh, Davinder Singh, Raminder Singh, Vinod Attri, Jasbir Kaur, Karamveer Singh, Avtar Singh, Tarun, Harbir Singh, Divya, Lt Col Gagandeep Singh, and Sukhpreet Kaur, extended their heartfelt appreciation to the sangat for their enthusiastic participation and devout presence throughout Shabad Kirtan.
The shared reverence for Gurpurab and the harmonious celebration of Sikh traditions showcased the collective respect and understanding among the residents, fostering an environment of inclusivity and shared cultural heritage within the Atlantis Apartment Owners' Welfare Association.
The religious programme culminated with Guru Ka Langar.
