Ludhiana: World Tourism Day celebrated at Maharaja Duleep Singh Memorial
PTC News Desk: World Tourism Day was celebrated on Wednesday at the Duleep Singh Memorial, also known as Bassian Kotli, in collaboration with of the Punjab Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs.
This program also witnessed the presence of Gurbir Singh Kohli, PCS; SDM, Raikot; and Gurjot Singh from the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. The events were attended by students from Shaheed Gurinder Singh Government Senior Secondary School Bassian, Sri Guru Nanak Public School Bassian, Government Senior Secondary School Talwandi Rai, Birding Brain International School Raikot, and Raikot School.
Harmeet Kaur from Birding Brain International School, Raikot bagged the first position in this event, followed by Pargat Singh (Shaheed Gurinder Singh Government Senior Secondary School Bassian) and Armandeep Singh and Manrup Kaur from Raikot Public School.
Manbir Kaur Sidhu, Naib Tehsildar, Raikot presented the prizes to the winning students.
Kulwinder Singh, Supervisor/Guide and Manpreet Singh, Guide at Maharaja Duleep Singh Memorial also educated students about the great history of Maharaja Duleep Singh Ji.
