Patiala: Reports of witchcraft spark fear in Punjabi University girls’ hostel
PTC Web Desk: A case of alleged witchcraft has emerged at Punjabi University, Patiala, sparking fear among students. The incident comes just a night after a similar occurrence was reported in the girls' hostel. Taking serious note of the matter, the hostel warden has issued a stern warning, prohibiting any such activities within the premises.
On Saturday morning, students in one of the girls’ hostels were shocked to discover mysterious white markings in the hostel courtyard. Alarmed, they immediately informed the hostel warden, Harpreet, who later issued an official notice addressing the incident.
The notice stated that reports had been received about some students allegedly engaging in witchcraft or occult practices, creating an atmosphere of fear and panic among other residents. The warden emphasised that such activities would not be tolerated, and strict action would be taken against anyone found responsible.
To ensure the safety and well-being of students, the warden prohibited any form of occult practices within the hostel premises. She warned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against anyone involved. However, Punjabi University authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incidents.
The reports have left hostel residents unsettled, with many demanding a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind these mysterious activities.
