Punjab: BSF troops recover quadcopter drone along with heroin near Amritsar border
PTC News Desk: Border Security Force (BSF) troops on Friday afternoon foiled another Pakistani drone along with heroin near Rajatal village in Punjab’s Amritsar.
The drone along with heroin was recovered from the Rajatal village in Amritsar district following a search operation launched by the BSF troops.
Earlier, during early afternoon hours, forward deployed BSF troops heard buzzing sound of a suspected flying object entering from Pakistan to Indian Territory and intercepted movement of drone near Rajatal village in Amritsar.
On the basis of the suspected flying object a search operation was carried during which recovered a drone along with 01 bottle attached (filled with suspected heroin) was recovered from the paddy fields near Rajatal village in Punjab’s Amritsar.
The recovered drone is a Quadcopter (Model - DJI Mavic 3 Classic, made in China) and the Gross weight of the recovered heroin is 0.545 Kg.
Another attempt of vigilant troops of BSF who recovered the nefarious design of smugglers via drone.
