Punjab Elections 2024 | Punjab gears up for the last and Phase 7 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, this time all set to elect its 13 Members of Parliament which is all set to take place on June 1, 2024. 

The political atmosphere is charged with fervour as citizens eagerly anticipate the opportunity to exercise their democratic right and cast their ballots. 


This upcoming election holds significant importance, as it is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the political trajectory of the state.

Voters are eagerly preparing to participate in what is anticipated to be a pivotal moment in Punjab's political landscape. However, for many individuals, accessing this fundamental right can be challenging, particularly when traditional identification methods like Voter ID cards are not readily available but don’t worry as here are some alternatives for casting your vote without a Voter ID card 

Alternative ways to cast vote without Voter ID 

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Driving License
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • MGNREGA Job Card
  • Passbooks with photograph issued by Bank/Post Office
  • Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR
  • Pension document with photograph
  • Service Identity Cards with photograph issued to employees by Central/State Govt./PSUs/Public Limited Companies
  • Health Insurance Smart Card issued under the scheme of the Ministry of Labour
  • Official identity cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs and 
  • Official identity cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs andUnique Disability ID (UDID) Card, issued by M/o Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
