Punjab: Fire breaks out at Ludhiana factory, 3 injured
PTC News Desk: A massive fire broke out in a hosiery factory in Punjab's Ludhiana on Saturday late at night, leaving three people injured, an official said.
According to officials, the fire started on Saturday night in a three-story factory.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, according to officials.
"The fire was reported around 11 p.m. The fire was brought under control. Three people were injured, and they have been admitted to a hospital," Atish, a fire officer said.
He also stated that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined and that an investigation into the incident will be conducted.
"The factory was operating in a rented house in a residential area. The factory was located on the first floor. "These people lived in a rented room above," said another official on the scene.
