Punjab horror: 28-year-old hacked to death by migrants in Mohali's Phase 11

PTC News Desk: In a shocking incident, a 28-year-old youth was brutally attacked and killed by migrant workers in Mohali's Phase 11. 

The deceased has been identified as Gursewak Singh, 28. 


The latest killing in Mohali has reignited the Kumbra double murder case when a minor altercation between friends escalated into violence, resulting in the death of two youths.

According to the reports, Gursewak Singh was attacked when he was coming out of a temple in Mohali's Phase 11. A group of migrant workers allegedly gathered and attacked him. During the assault, he was stabbed multiple times.

He was immediately rushed to the Fortis Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. 

The family of the deceased youth staged a protest outside Fortis Hospital and raised slogans against the Punjab government.

Soon after police reached the spot and launched investigation into the matter. The incident was captured in a CCTV, which is being examined to identify the attackers.
