Parkash Singh Badal Cremated Live Updates  : In the death of Sardar Parkash Singh Badal, SAD patriarch, an era of politics has also come to an end.  Born on December 8, 1927, he breathed his last at Mohali's Fortis Hospital on April 25. 

Sardar Parkash Singh Badal was a five-time former Chief Minister of Punjab and Akali Dal patriarch. The veteran leader, who served as a village sarpanch, was the youngest Chief Minister to ever hold office in Punjab, at the age of 43.

Notably, the mortal remains of former Punjab CM and Shiromani Akali Dal patron Sardar Parkash Singh Badal was brought last night to Badal village for last rites which will take place at 1 pm. 

Party workers and common people from several places reached Badal village to pay their respects. The mortal remains of Badal were kept for the last 'darshan' at his residence from 9 am till 12 noon. 

Meanwhile, grief-stricken gathering join hands in ‘Ardaas’ ahead of last rituals of SAD patron. 

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also reached Badal village to pay last respect to Sardar Parkash Singh Badal.
