Special Cell nabs associates of Khalistani terrorist Landa from Punjab
Chandigarh, January 20: In ongoing operations against Khalistani Terror-Gangster Nexus, one of Punjab's highly notorious and wanted gangster and close associate of fugitive Landa Harike, namely Rajan Bhatti, r/o Gurdaspur, Pb, was apprehended by CI, Special Cell.

Notably, Rajan Bhatti has over 15 previous crimes to his name and was running wanted in FIR 06/2022, u/s 153, 153-A,120-B IPC, 25 Arms Act, PS SSOC SAS Nagar, Mohali, Pb.
This FIR of Punjab is regarding target killings and disturbing communal harmony in Punjab on the directions of Landa Harike and Harvinder Singh Rinda.
On the basis of disclosures made by accused Rajan Bhatti and technical analysis, in a joint operation with Punjab Police, one more desperate criminal namely Kanwaljeet Singh @ Chinna, r/o Makhu, Firozepur, Punjab has been apprehended.
Accused Rajan Bhatti was handling Chinna for receiving and pushing drone dropped drugs and firearms in Punjab.
Landa Harike had tasked Rajan and Chinna for elimination of two targets in Punjab.
Accused Chinna along with an accomplice was zeroed in near Didar Hotel, Beas, Amritsar Rural. The concerned local police were informed and a team of PS Beas, Amritsar Rural joined the Delhi Police team for a joint raid.
Upon being cornered, the two suspects took off in different directions after opening fire on the raiding joint police team.
In a brief exchange of fire, Ct. Yogesh of CI, Spl. Cell got hit in his foot.
However, determined police action saw apprehension of Chinna without any further injury to any person.

Regarding the incident a FIR has been registered at PS Beas, Amritsar Rural, Punjab.
