Will make it one of best in Punjab: Sukhbir Badal attends alumni meet of Malwa School, Gidderbaha
Chandigarh, December 30: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Friday attended the first alumni meet of Malwa School, Gidderbaha.
The school was founded by the SAD chief's mother Bibi Surinder Kaur ji Badal.
Sharing pictures of the event, Sukhbir Badal said, "Delighted to attend 1st Alumni meet of Malwa School Gidderbaha, founded by my mother Bibi Surinder Kaur ji Badal. Glad to meet & interact with alumni, many of whom are now holding reputed positions in bureaucracy, judiciary, health, education & business sectors."
Further sharing his vision about the upgradation of the school, the SAD leader promised to make it one of the best schools in Punjab. "...with new academic block & state-of-the-art sports complex meeting int'l stds coming up, have promised to make it one of the best public schools in Pb. Also announced to organise this meet annually on Dec 8, the school's foundation day," he tweeted.
"While taking feedback/suggestions for improvement from the alumni, have also urged them to come together and form a community of well-placed professionals and entrepreneurs with common roots. Today's event was the first step to facilitate this bond and networking," he added.
