Punjab: 540 Security Guards Didn't Get Salary Since Last 3 Months The Pesco Company, which provides services of security guards in different parts of the Punjab government, are exploiting the ex-servicemen of the country. After retirement, these ex-servicemen working as security guards in different organizations through Pesco Company are not being paid as per the government rules. On one hand, the security forces working on the contract basis by the central government have been decided to pay a minimum of Rs 18,000 per month, whereas this declaration has not been implemented in Punjab. These employees are getting salaries of Rs. 9500 per month. 540 employees are posted in Punjab jails. And not all of them are paid salaries because the government's fund has not been released to PESCO, while the employees in banks and other private institutions are getting salaries.
