Punjab AG Anmol Rattan Sidhu attacked while returning to Chandigarh
Chandigarh, July 12: Punjab Advocate General Anmol Rattan Sidhu on Tuesday lodged a complaint with DGP alleging an attack by unknown miscreants, sources said.
According to sources, stones were hurled at Sidhu's seat near Haryana's Panipat. Reportedly, the AG was travelling on Shatabadi from Delhi to Chandigarh when unknown miscreants pelted stones and shattered the windowpane.
Earlier on Monday, AG Sidhu appeared before the Supreme Court in the Lawrence Bishnoi case.
The police have taken action after receiving the AG's complaint.
