Punjab and Haryana High Court reserves order in school fee matter
Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday resumed hearing on the issue of school fee by private schools in the state. Meanwhile, parents are eagerly waiting for High Court’s decision on this matter.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court had earlier directed Punjab Government to file an Affidavit over school fee. The court had also asked to issue a clarification on its stand on the matter of school fee.
Likewise, the Punjab Government submitted an Affidavit into the matter clarifying its stand regarding the school fee issue, being charged by private schools during lockdown.
Meanwhile, all the arguments have been completed and the High Court has reserved its order into the matter of school fees.

Parents have been protesting against the school fee being charged by private schools. Likewise, the state had sought a modification of the order and stated that it had put some conditions on the collection of fee amid coronavirus outbreak under the Epidemics Diseases Act, 1897.
