Punjab CM announces single window in every district for investors
Chandigarh, May 10: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Tuesday that the state government will set up single window in every district to ensure speedy clearances for industrialists.
During an interactive meeting with the industrial tycoons, the CM Bhagwant Mann said that these single windows will enable the industrialists to get clearances for their projects in a timely, smooth and hassle-free manner. He further mentioned that the process of single windows in every district will enable the industrialists to get clearances without having to go from office to office, saving them a lot of time, money and energy.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is duty-bound to facilitate the investors/ entrepreneurs in a big way.
The Chief Minister, touting Punjab as the most attractive investment destination, stated that the state government's industrial-friendly policies, together with the state's hardworking and dedicated workforce, are the rarest of rare combinations required to accelerate industrial growth. He stated that the state government's mission is to make Punjab a frontrunner in industrial growth, putting it onto a high-growth trajectory.
CM Bhagwant Mann said that ushering in an era of industrial growth will enhance the state's progress and the prosperity of its people.

The state government, according to the Chief Minister, is already attracting industrial tycoons from around the country to set up businesses in the state. He stated that the Punjab government is committed to boosting industrial growth in the state and that no stone will be left unturned to accomplish this noble goal. According to Mann, increasing industrial expansion will benefit both industrialists and the youth.
According to the Chief Minister, while industrialists will have a platform to expand, the industrial boom will also provide new opportunities for the youth. He said that this will contribute to reversing the trend of Punjabi youth seeking greener pastures for their careers abroad, hence preventing brain drain.
“The day is not far when with your help Punjab will be transformed into a hub of industrial growth and employment opportunities” CM Bhagwant Mann added.
