Amritsar: Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Tuesday paid a surprise visit to Government Senior Secondary School, Wadala Bhittewad, and lauded the school management led by the Principal for ensuring proper upkeep, cleanliness, and educational standards.
The Chief Minister also went to the classrooms where he interacted with the students as well.
While interacting with the students, Charanjit Singh Channi put queries regarding their subjects to which the students replied satisfactorily which pleased the Chief Minister. He further asked them to keep working hard for realizing their goals in life.
Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi also expressed satisfaction at the standards being adhered to while preparing the mid-meal at Government Senior Secondary School, Wadala Bhittewad. He also checked the attendance of staff and all staff members were found present.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister participated in the singing of the National Anthem with the students and saluted them for their spirit.
Later, he visited farmers' houses at a border village in Amritsar to know their problems at ground level. He had a sumptuous dinner with a family there.
"I'm indebted to people for their unconditional love and support, which encourages me to work more dedicatedly for the welfare of Punjab and Punjabis," he added.
