Punjab: Explosion at fireworks unit in Rajpura kills 11-year-old girl

Punjab: In a shocking incident, an accidental explosion at a fireworks unit in Rajpura's Jandoli village killed an 11-year-old girl while three other children were injured, the police sources said on Saturday. The identification of the deceased and those injured is yet to be ascertained. It has been reported that firecrackers were being made inside the house. It was set up at a house in Sant Nagar, the sources said. According to sources, the roof was blown up due to a blast. Even the explosion ripped apart most of the nearby houses. Meanwhile, the DSP and SDM reached the spot. The police has started an investigation into Rajpura's Jandoli village explosion. -PTC News
