Punjab: Filing of nominations for Zila Parishad polls to begin today The filing of nominations for the upcoming Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections begins here on Tuesday and will end on September 7. She said that the nominations can be filed between 11 am to 3 pm on these days. State Election Commission has already released the advance notification of schedule for Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections. The scrutiny of nomination papers would be done at 11 am on September 10, the withdrawal of nominations can be done till 3:00 pm, on September 11 and the symbol allotment would be done immediately after that. the polling would be held from 8 am to 4 pm on September 19 and the counting of votes would be done on September 22.
