Ludhiana firing: Unknown bike-borne assailants open fire at visa consultant's office in Model Town
PTC News Desk: Two unidentified bike-borne assailants opened fire at the office of Rightway Visa Consultants in Model Town Extension, Ludhiana, late on Sunday night.
According to the preliminary information, the man riding pillion fired two to three rounds at the office before fleeing the scene.
Model Town SHO Gurshinder Kaur said the incident took place late at night. Police are checking CCTV footage from the surrounding area to identify the suspects. Statements from the complainant are being recorded, and further investigation is underway.
The preliminary investigation suggests that the complainant had allegedly received threats earlier and that money had been demanded from him.
However, police said it was not yet clear who had made the demands or how much money had been sought.
