Mansa accident: School bus collides with PRTC bus; several children injured, driver's legs fractured
PTC News Desk: A school bus collided with a PRTC bus on the National Highway in Mansa at around 7:30 am on Monday, leaving around 10 to 15 people injured. One child is reportedly in serious condition.
The school bus driver suffered fractures in both legs. All the injured were taken to a government hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Bareta police are investigating the incident.

The school bus is reportedly associated with Holy Heart Public School, Kishangarh.
According to the PRTC bus driver, he was travelling from Mansa towards Jakhal when a motorcyclist suddenly came in front of the bus. The rider reportedly had a mobile phone held to his ear. The PRTC driver applied the brakes immediately to avoid hitting him.
The school bus, which was travelling behind the PRTC bus, then crashed into its rear. The impact was severe, injuring several children travelling in the school bus. The school bus driver also suffered fractures in both legs.
Girl reportedly critically injured
A young girl was reportedly among those who suffered more serious injuries in the accident. Her condition is said to be critical.
The other injured children were also taken to the government hospital for treatment.
A crowd gathered at the spot after the accident. Police reached the scene and collected information about the incident.
Bareta police are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the collision, including the positions and movements of both buses at the time of the accident.
