Mumbai, February 22: Ranveer Singh starrer sports drama '83' is all set to premiere on Television before it makes its way to the digital medium. The Kabir Khan directorial earlier found itself in troubled waters as the third wave hit its theatrical run. The plan to prioritise broadcasting over streaming appears to be motivated by the nostalgia of an entire generation, a population that mostly consumes content via television. The film will premiere on Star Gold at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 20. In addition, the channel will provide brands with the opportunity to replay some of their famous and iconic TV advertising during the premiere to celebrate an astounding win in the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
