Rose Festival takes place every year in February in the famous Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, one of Asia's largest rose gardens.
Among numerous activities to attract people, Mr and Miss Rose for the Senior Citizen became the center of attraction on the second day of the fest proving that the city beautiful takes care of its senior citizens just as much as it does for any other age group.
This year Chandigarh welcomed National and International visitors to the 46th Rose Festival that showcased 829 varieties of roses spread across 30 acres of land along with cultural activities.
Helicopter rides is one of the major attraction of the fest this year, where you get to see the beautiful city from a different angle and level literally!
Organised by the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore inaugurated the Rose Festival today with BJP MP Kirron Kher as the chief guest.
