The state government on Monday filed a caveat into the cases related to Guru Granth sacrilege incident and violence cases.

The state government filed a caveat seeking that the state government should be heard , in case the parties affected by the judgment files an appeal before a Division Bench of the High Court.

Earlier, the Punjab and Haryana High court had put a stay on the proceedings initiated against three former police officials by the state government on the recommendations of the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission report.
