SAD announces Harsimrat Kaur Badal as Bathinda Candidate and Sukhbir Singh Badal as Ferozepur Candidate
The Shiromani Akali Dal today announced its candidates for Ferozepore and Bathinda Parliamentary seats for the coming Lok Sabha elections.
The SAD has decided to field its President, Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal, from Ferozepur. Also, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal will be the party nominee from the Bathinda parliamentary constituency. The announcement was made by party patron and Akali stalwart Parkash Singh Badal.

The SAD has now announced candidates for all 10 seats it will be contesting. The remaining three seats - Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur - are with the alliance partner BJP. The SAD candidates are Prem Singh Chandumajra (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Surjit Singh Rakhra (Patiala), Parminder Singh Dhindsa (Sangrur) and Darbara Singh Guru (Fatehgarh Sahib) on the list. It has officially announced the candidature of Bibi Jagir Kaur (Khadoor Sahib) and Charanjit Singh Atwal (Jalandhar).
