SAD to decide candidates only after announcement of Lok Sabha Poll
Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal on Tuesday said that the party will decide its candidate only after the dates of upcoming Lok Sabha elections are announced.

Addressing a press conference, Sukhbir Singh Badal announced that Shiromani Akali Dal will contest Lok sabha elections on 10+3 formula. SAD would contest on ten seats whereas their alliance partner Bhartiya Janata Party will contest on three seats in upcoming Lok sabha elections.

“The manifesto committee will decide the strategy for parliamentary polls and will include stakeholders from various fields in aspect to establish communication with the public”,said Sukhbir Singh Badal.

SAD had formed a manifesto committee for the upcoming parliamentary polls under the chairmanship of Senior Akali leader and MP Balwinder Singh Bhundar and forme speaker of Vidhan Sabha assembly Charanjit Singh Atwal .
