Sangrur by-elections 2022: CM Bhagwant Mann to hold roadshow in Bhadaur

Chandigarh, June 16: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is all set for the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat by-election and the party is doing really hard for victory in the by-elections.

Ahead of Sangrur by election, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is all set to take part in the election campaign of party candidate Gurmel Singh Gharachon and Mann will also hold a road show in Bhadaur on June 16.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is currently in a state of tension for the by-elections to the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat as the trouble and allegations for the party has arisen after the assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in a broad daylight near Mansa district.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab in-charge Jarnail Singh met party workers and reviewed the preparations for the roadshow. Attacking the opposition parties, Jarnail Singh said that Congress and BJP governments patronised drug mafia, mining mafia, cable mafia and gangsters in Punjab and plunged Punjab into debt.

The filing of nominations began on May 30, the scrutiny of nominations would be done on June 7 and the last date of withdrawal of candidature is June 9. The polling will take place on June 26.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) registered a landslide victory in the Punjab polls with 92 seats, pushing most of its rivals to the margins. Congress won 18 seats in the 117-member Assembly.
