Sania Mirza and Nadia Kichenok win Hobart International tournament
Sania Mirza along with her Ukrainian partner Nadia Kichenok won the Hobart International tournament on Saturday. She staged a winning comeback on the tennis court. The duo defeated Zhang Shuai and Peng Shuai of China 6-4, 6-4 in the finals on Saturday. Sania Mirza and Nadia Kichenok did not allow the opponents to have any kind of momentum and wrapped up the match easily.
Likewise, Women's Tennis Association (WTA) on Saturday took to twitter and wrote: "Straight sets win. Nadiia Kichenok and Sania Mirza are your Hobart Tennis Doubles Champions after defeating Peng/Zhang, 6-4, 6-4!"

The duo defeated Marie Bouzkova and Tamara Zidansek 7-6, 6-2 in the semifinals on Friday. Sania Mirza last played at China Open in October 2017. Earlier in December, the 33-year-old Sania was named in the five-member Fed Cup team that was announced by All India Tennis Association (AITA) to represent the country in the Fed Cup Asia/Oceania Group 1 event.

The other players of the five-member squad are Riya Bhatia, Ankita Raina, Rutuja Bhosale and Karman Kaur Thandi. Sowjanya Bavisetti is the reserve player while Vishal Uppal was named as the captain.
