Scientist in IT Ministry jumps to death in Delhi, investigation underway
New Delhi, May 23: A 55-year-old man jumped allegedly jumped to death from the seventh floor of the Shastri Bhawan building in the national capital on Monday, Delhi police informed.
The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Mallik. He was an E-grade Scientist in the Information and Technology Ministry, according to police.

After getting the information about the incident, a team of Parliament Street Police Station officers along with a crime team and an ambulance rushed to the spot and started an enquiry into the incident.
Police further informed that legal action is also being taken. An investigation is underway.
