The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee's (SGPC) executive committee, chaired by president Harjinder Singh Dhami, will honour farmer leaders on their arrival at the Golden Temple in Amritsar (Punjab). The SGPC also expressed solace over the victory of farmers' protest. The decision was taken during the SGPC's executive meeting chaired by SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami at the committee headquarters on Friday. "The SGPC supported the farmers during the andolan and will continue to stand with them," added Harjinder Singh Dhami. He said simple langar would be served by the SGPC to commemorate the martyrdom fortnight of Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh, 10th Guru, from December 21 to 30.
