SAD to support BJP in Delhi polls: Sukhbir Singh Badal

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will support Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi Assembly Elections 2020, SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal said on Wednesday. While addressing the press conference, Sukhbir Singh Badal was joined by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President Manjinder Singh Sirsa, its 46 members and BJP President JP Nadda. Earlier, Manjinder Singh Sirsa had announced that SAD will not contest elections from Delhi. "The SAD-BJP alliance is not just a political alliance. It is bound by emotions, for peace, the future, and interests of Punjab and the country. There were some misunderstandings that have been sorted out," Sukhbir Singh Bada said. "We never broke the alliance.
