Pune (Maharashtra), March 28: India all-rounder Kedar Jadhav's father Mahadev Jadhav has been missing since Monday morning from the Kothrud region of Pune city, police officials informed.

He went missing after leaving his house in the morning. The Alankar Police Station has started a missing person case. Kedar Jadhav's family lives in Pune's Kothrud area.

Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Sahane of the Alankar Police Station verified that Mahadev Jadhav has dementia and that a search is underway.

Authorities have obtained CCTV footage of him at Karve Nagar, where he was last seen.

Kedar Jadhav is a batting all-rounder who represented India from 2014 to 2020. He played 73 One-Day Internationals for his country, scoring 1,389 runs at an average of 42.09 with two centuries and six fifties. In addition, he has 27 wickets in the format. He also appeared in nine T20Is, scoring 122 runs in six innings with one half-century.
