Meanwhile, Bumrah was seen throwing around the pigskin with Parsons, each athlete embracing the challenge and excitement of a new sport.

Earlier, BCCI secretary Jay Shah visited the NFL headquarters in New York, where he met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Their discussions centered on sharing best practices, exchanging innovative ideas, and enhancing fan engagement across both sports.
To mark this historic visit, Jay Shah presented Commissioner Goodell with a customised helmet featuring the BCCI logo and a Team India jersey. In return, Shah received a trademark NFL ball, symbolising the deepening relationship between cricket and American football.
This milestone interaction between the BCCI and the NFL paves the way for creative collaborations and cross-cultural sporting dialogues between India and the United States.
