Jasprit Bumrah reclaims No. 1 spot in ICC Test Rankings, Virat Kohli returns to Top 10

PTC Web Desk: Jasprit Bumrah has reclaimed his position as the top-ranked bowler in the ICC Test Rankings, thanks to his stellar performance in the Test series against Bangladesh, where he took 11 wickets. As per the latest rankings released on Wednesday, Bumrah now holds 870 rating points, narrowly edging out fellow Indian bowler Ravichandran Ashwin, who has 869 points. Ravindra Jadeja is also in the top 10, ranked sixth with 809 points.

In the batting rankings, Yashasvi Jaiswal has moved up to third position, while Virat Kohli has made a return to the top 10, climbing six spots to secure the sixth position. However, Indian captain Rohit Sharma has dropped five places, sliding from 10th to 15th. Along with Kohli and Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant is the third Indian batsman in the top 10. England’s Joe Root continues to hold the number one spot in the Test batting rankings.



Top Two Bowlers in Test Rankings are Indian

India continues to dominate the top two spots in the Test bowling rankings with Jasprit Bumrah at number one and Ashwin at number two. Last week, the rankings were reversed, with Ashwin at the top and Bumrah second. Ravindra Jadeja is ranked sixth, making him the third Indian bowler in the top 10. Apart from India, Australia also has three bowlers in the top 10—Josh Hazlewood (3rd), Pat Cummins (4th), and Nathan Lyon (7th).

Top Two All-rounders are Indian

India also holds the top two spots in the ICC Test All-rounder Rankings, with Ravindra Jadeja at number one and Ravichandran Ashwin at number two. Axar Patel is ranked seventh, making him the third Indian in the top 10 all-rounders.

Three Indian Batsmen in Top 10 of ODI Rankings

In the ODI rankings, Pakistan's Babar Azam remains the top-ranked batsman, while three Indian players—Rohit Sharma (2nd), Shubman Gill (3rd), and Virat Kohli (4th)—occupy the next three positions.

Kuldeep Yadav Moves to Third in ODI Bowling Rankings

In the ODI bowling rankings, India’s Kuldeep Yadav has climbed two places to third. South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj holds the top spot, followed by Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan at number two.

Suryakumar Yadav Remains Second in T20I Rankings

In the T20I rankings, Australia’s Travis Head is the top-ranked batsman, while India’s Suryakumar Yadav holds the second position. Yashasvi Jaiswal is ranked fourth, and Ruturaj Gaikwad is ninth. No Indian bowler features in the top 10 of the T20I bowling rankings, with Ravi Bishnoi (11th) and Axar Patel (12th) being the highest-ranked Indian bowlers.
