Naman Awards 2024: Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma recognised as Best International Cricketer

Naman Awards 2024: Smriti Mandhana, India's vice-captain, was named the Best International Cricketer in the women's category for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons at the Naman Awards on Tuesday.

Deepti Sharma, on the other hand, was named the Best International Cricketer in the Women's Category in 2019-20 and 2022-23. 

The highest wicket-takers in the ODI format were Poonam Yadav, Jhulan Goswami, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, and Devika Vaidya in 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23, respectively.

Punam Raut, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Jemimah Rodrigues were named the top 50-over run scorers in 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23, respectively.

In the women's Best International Debut category, Priya Punia, Shafali Verma, Sabbhineni Meghana, and Amanjot Kaur won the awards in 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23, respectively.

Kashvee Gautam, a junior women's cricketer, won the Jagmohan Dalmiya Trophy in the U-16 category for 2019-2020. Soumya Tiwari and Vaishnavi Sharma from Madhya Pradesh won the awards for 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, respectively.

In the women's ODI category, Meghalya's Saee Purandare won the Jagmohan Dalmiya Trophy for 2019-20. Indrani Roy from Jharkhand won the award for 2020-21. Kanika Ahuja of Punjab and Nabam Yapu of Arunachal Pradesh have won the Jagmohan Dalmiya Trophy for 2021-22 and 2022-23, respectively.
