Paris Olympics 2024: Manu Bhaker missed out on a medal after coming fourth in the Women's 25m Pistol final at the Paris Olympics 2024. Manu lost the 3rd/4th place elimination playoff, missing out on her third medal at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024.
With four athletes remaining in competition, Manu and Hungary's Veronica Major were level on 28 points. In the five-shot shootout, Manu missed twice, while Major missed once. Major finally finished with a bronze medal with 31 hits.
Despite the 25-meter miss, Manu closes the campaign as a history-maker, with two air pistol bronze medals.
Following the heartbreak, Manu Bhaker stated that she was nervous at the final and did her best, but things did not go her way this time. The 22-year-old revealed that she didn't use social media to avoid distractions. Manu stated that this routine had helped her win two medals in prior contests, but today was not her lucky day.
