Video of MS Dhoni riding bike in Ranchi surfaces days after CSK's IPL 2024 exit, goes viral
IPL 2024: A day after returning to his hometown of Ranchi in the wake of CSK's IPL elimination, MS Dhoni was spotted riding a vintage bike. After CSK's loss to RCB in their final league match of the season on Saturday in Bengaluru, Dhoni was devastated.
After Chennai's el1imination from the Indian Premier League, Super Kings player MS Dhoni returned to his birthplace of Ranchi and was spotted riding his vintage bike there a day later. It appears that Dhoni rode his favourite machine to distract himself from the devastating loss in CSK's final IPL 2024 season match on Saturday, May 18, in Bengaluru.

In a fan-shot video, MS Dhoni was seen riding a Yamaha RD 350 motorcycle. After the ride, the former captain of India was spotted going into his Ranchi home. Notably, on Sunday, May 19, Dhoni and his family arrived back in Ranchi from Bengaluru. Fans sought to catch a glimpse of the CSK player by snapping selfies outside the SUV when Dhoni was seen leaving the airport.
Sakshi Singh Rawat, the spouse of MS Dhoni, posted Instagram stories of them arriving home in Ranchi on Sunday. On Sunday morning, Dhoni, Sakshi, and their daughter Ziva were also sighted at the Bengaluru airport.
Dhoni's passion for motorcycles is well-known. The former captain of the World Cup has frequently been seen having fun on rides along Ranchi's highways. Dhoni lives in Ranchi and has an impressive collection of automobiles and motorcycles. Former fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad of India shared a video showing off Dhoni's home's two-story garage.
Dhoni may have participated in his final IPL game as the Super Kings were eliminated from the playoff chase after losing to RCB. In order to sneak into the playoffs, CSK had to reach 201 in their pursuit of 219 against RCB in Bengaluru. The five-time champions, however, lost the game by 27 runs after falling 10 runs short of the qualifying total.
When CSK needed to score 17 runs in the final over, MS Dhoni was on fire. The seasoned finisher was dismissed in the very next delivery after hitting the opening ball for a 110-meter six. CSK missed their chance to defend their title because they could not cross the finish line.
Following the Bengaluru loss, MS Dhoni rushed off the field, looking both heartbroken and enraged at himself.
