Virat Kohli’s Instagram account restored after sudden outage, fans relieved

PTC Web Desk: Virat Kohli’s official Instagram account has become visible again after briefly going offline, triggering widespread concern among his fans on social media. The star cricketer’s account had suddenly disappeared last night, with users unable to find his profile even through direct search or shared links. Many fans reported that Instagram displayed a message stating, “This page isn’t available.”

The unexpected outage led to speculation and anxiety among Virat Kohli’s followers, prompting several users to seek answers from his wife, Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, on social media platforms. However, neither Virat Kohli nor his team issued any official clarification on whether the account was deliberately deactivated or affected by a technical glitch.

With over 274 million followers, Virat Kohli remains one of the most followed athletes in the world and any disruption to his social media presence naturally draws massive attention. The restoration of the account has now brought relief to millions of fans who closely follow his updates.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has also been making headlines for his on-field achievements. The Indian batting stalwart recently reclaimed the top position in the ICC ODI rankings, a feat he achieved after scoring a brilliant 93 runs against New Zealand in the first ODI in Vadodara. The knock helped him overtake Rohit Sharma and return to the number one spot for the first time since July 2021.

At 37, Virat Kohli has been in exceptional form in recent months. His recent performances include an unbeaten 74 against Australia, as well as scores of 135, 102 and an unbeaten 65 against South Africa. His 93-run innings against New Zealand also saw him surpass Sachin Tendulkar to become the second-highest run-scorer in international cricket history.

Kohli has now achieved the number one ranking for the 11th time in his career and has spent a cumulative 825 days at the top, the most by any Indian batter, a record that underlines his longevity and dominance in international cricket.
