Sukhbir Badal announces 5-member committee of All India Sikh Students Federation
Chandigarh, September 7: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal appointed a five-member committee on Wednesday to strengthen and reorganise the All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF).
The decision was made after Sukhbir Badal met with prominent former federation leaders who performed important services in the federation.
Members of the committee are Virsa Singh Valtoha, Rajinder Singh Mehta, Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad, Amarjit Singh Chawla and Gurcharan Singh Grewal.
After contacting all federation factions, this five-member unity committee would meet with Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal in the coming days to unite the federation with all its might.

During Wednesday's meeting, several crucial issues were addressed. Jagroop Singh Cheema, the leader of the Federation, also attended the meeting
The Shiromani Akali Dal chief recently gave the party a new look. President Sukhbir Singh Badal took the decision to increase youth participation and said that the Youth Akali Dal will now have people under the age of 35.
