Sukhbir Badal announces first office-bearers’ list for the Chandigarh Unit
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president S. Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced the first office-bearers’ list of the Chandigarh unit after making considerable deliberations with S. Hardeep Singh Butrela, the party head in the UT.
Releasing the list from the party headquarters, S Badal said that all the dedicated and hardworking people including leaders as well as party workers have been honored with big responsibilities. He said that Major Karnail Singh and S Kaka Singh have been appointed as patrons of the Chandigarh unit of SAD, while S. Amar Singh Sector 43, S Bara Singh Sector-44, S Sunder Singh Sangufa and S. Gulab Singh Manimajra were made Senior Vice Presidents. Besides, S Balwinder Singh Sector 27, S Jabarjang Singh, Captain Kulwant Singh and S. Harcharan Singh Sahni were appointed as Vice presidents of the Chandigarh Unit.
He further said that S. Charanjit Singh Villy and S. Sukhwinder Singh Bhatia were appointed as Secretary Generals of the SAD unit in Chandigarh. He named S. Sukhdev Singh Kahlon, S. Mohinder Singh Baghi Dhanas, S. Kamaljit Singh Dhanas, S. Gurpreet Singh Khudda Alisher and S. Kuldeep Singh Sector 45 as the general secretaries of the UT unit.
Badal has also assigned some important responsibilities to persons like Shri Shiv Kumar as Advisor, S Avtar Singh Manimajra andS Surjit Singh Raja Manimanjra as secretaries besides Avtar Singh Mehatpuri as press secretary, Shri Mohal Lal and Yogesh Sharma as organizational secretaries as well as S. Surjit Singh Butrela as cashier.
The SAD president also named the following persons as working Committee Members of the SAD unit in Chandigarh: S. Pritpal Singh Dhanas, S. Satinder Singh Satti, S. Navraj Singh Manimajra, S. Dilbag Singh Manimajra, S. Kuldeep Singh Saini Manimajra, S. Jaspal Singh Saini Manimajra, S. Harmesh Singh Kajhheri, S. Dharminder Singh Kajhheri, Advocate Dilraj Singh Sector 51, S. Gurcharan Singh Khudda Alisher, S. Manohar Singh Khudda Alisher, S. Avtar Singh Butrela, S. Kamaljit Singh Kala Butrela, Master Mohan Singh Daddumajra, S. Gurraj Singh Daddumajra, S. Shamsher Singh Daddumajra, Giani Rewat Singh Attawa, S. Iqbal Singh Sector 41, S. Taranjit Singh Sector 41, S. Tarlok Singh Sector 37, S. Gurbux Singh Sector 41, S. Parjinder Singh Sector 44, S. He also said that the second list of office-bearers will be announced shorty.
