World Soil Day: Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and senior SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia congratulated the farming community and urged them to use contemporary methods to stop soil erosion and search for means to improve productivity and soil quality. Sukhbir Singh Badal said in a tweet,"Soil needs roots to be held together. When it gets those roots, it holds our lives together. When soil disintegrates, so do our lives.
