Sushant Singh Rajput Death case: ED summons Rhea Chakraborty for questioning
Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: The Enforcement Directorate has issued summons to Sushant Singh Rajput’s former live-in partner Rhea Chakraborty to appear before the agency on Friday at 11 am. Rhea Chakraborty was said to have been absconding ever since she posted a video claiming innocence and wishing that the truth behind the actor's death comes out one day.
The Bihar Police has been claiming that it has not been able to trace Chakraborty. She has been accused of diverting huge sums from Sushant’s account apart harassing him mentally. The Enforcement Directorate is investigating the financial misconduct aspect of the investigation.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Central government notified a CBI investigation into the abetment of a suicide case registered against Rhea Chakraborty by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father. Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found dead in his apartment in Bandra in Mumbai on June 14.
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking transfer of the case registered in Bihar to Mumbai. The apex court directed the Mumbai Police to place before it the status report of the investigation conducted so far.

Bihar Police DGP Gupteshwar Pandey on Tuesday said that Rs 50 crore was withdrawn from the late actor’s account in the last four years while Rs 15 crore was withdrawn in the last year only. The DGP also accused the Mumbai Police of not probing the financial angle in the case.
