Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his residence in Mumbai on Sunday. He was 34-year-old. He has made a debut in the Bollywood industry with Kai Po Che! and was seen last in Chhichhore.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and wrote: "Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless...I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor...may God give strength to his family ??"
Likewise, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said in a tweet: "Shocked to learn that super talented actor #SushantSinghRajput is no more. He was from my city Patna. Remember meeting him in Rashtrapati Bhawan during the oath-taking ceremony last year. He had told me that his family lived in Rajiv Nagar, Patna. He had miles to go. He left too soon."
Union Minister Smriti Irani wrote: "I have no words, no understanding of why you left the way you did. From a bright young kid who came to Balaji to a star who made the Nation swoon, you had come a long way and had many more miles to go. You will be missed Sushant Singh Rajput. Gone too soon."
"Shocked and heartbroken ? A young, talented actor gone too soon. Rest in peace Sushant Singh Rajput, Tamannaah Bhatia wrote. Likewise, Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma actress Munmun Dutta wrote: "Beyond SHOCKED! SHAKEN! Someone this massively talented and inspiring. Difficult to even type this !!!"
"I’m shocked at the tragic passing away of #SushantSinghRajput. A life brimming with promise and possibilities ended abruptly. My condolences to his family and fans," Indian cricket team coach Ravi Shashtri wrote.
