Three Punjabi youths charred to death in road accident in US
Jalandhar: Three youths from Punjab, all aged 23, were charred to death in the United States after their car rammed into a tree and caught fire.
The incident took place when their vehicle went out of control and rammed into a tree. The victims, identified as Punit Singh Nijhar, Amarjit Singh and Harpal Singh Multani were basketball players and belonged to Jalandhar and Kapurthala districts of Punjab.
They were on their way to participate in an event when the accident took place.
The youths were leaving North Park Bay on 30th Exec when the accident occurred and it is believed that their speeding car collided with a tree and caught fire. Both Punit Nijhar and Amarjit Singh were the only sons of their parents.
