Tokyo Olympics 2020: Indian men's Hockey team beat Japan 5-3 Pool A game
Tokyo Olympics 2020: Gurjant Singh strikes twice as India defeated Japan 5-3 to continue impressive form in the group stage. A couple of goals from Gurjant and fine strikes from Harmanpreet Singh, Nilakanta Sharma, and Simrajit Singh helped India win back-to-back matches at Tokyo Olympics.
On the other hand, Japan managed to hit as many as three goals in their final match at Tokyo Olympics 2020. India continued to be placed 2nd in Pool A below Australia in the points table.

Both India and Japan got off to a cautious start. Manpreet Singh-led Indian side broke the shackles and hammered the first goal in the 13th minute.
